Popularized by their iconic sun hats, Romualda was founded in 2020 in Madrid by two sisters, Mariana and Cristina Aguirre. Taking artistic matters into their own hands, Creative Director Cristina hand-paints every print in their Spain studio. With honesty at the center of their work, the duo prioritizes age-old techniques while carefully sourcing materials that can be recycled and reused. In 2026, the company will close its storefront due to a need to slow down and remain steadfast to their belief in sustainable fashion.
