Erja Hirvi brought the joyfully blossoming Kukasta Kukkaan print to life during a burst of creativity at her summer retreat, fully immersed in floral inspiration. The loosely conceived pattern emerged as she painted, capturing the myriad ways flowers appear in nature. The Finnish name of the design translates to "from flower to flower" — a nod to the playful flight of bumblebees among summer blooms.

• Care: Naturally antibacterial, wool resists stains — airing is usually enough to keep it fresh. Remove small stains by brushing or gently spot cleaning. Store on a sturdy hanger in an airy space; use a garment bag for off-season storage. Minor pilling is typical of natural fiber knits — a clothes brush or fabric shaver helps smooth the surface (test on an inconspicuous area first).
